Description
Shinfield Tennis Club is a friendly Clubmark accredited club registered with the LTA and located in the pleasant surroundings of Shinfield village.
In 2012 and with the help of the LTA, Sport England and both the local Parish Council and Wokingham Borough Council, the club underwent major redevelopment to transform it into a modern playing facility with four floodlit courts.
We have a clubhouse and car parking facilities. The club offers a full programme of coaching for adults and juniors alike. Play is on offer all year round with tennis into the evening under floodlights.
We offer an extensive Coaching Programme for children utilising the LTA approved "mini-tennis" game delivered by our LTA licensed coaches under the stewardship of Head Coach, Jonathan Smith, an ex-UK Davis Cup player.
