Thames Valley Tristars is the junior section of Thames Valley Triathletes based in Berkshire, UK. The Club covers a large area of Berkshire and South Oxfordshire, including Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, Maidenhead & Henley.

The club caters for juniors aged from 8 to 16 interested in training and or competing in the triathlon sports of swimming, cycling & running. The emphasis is on fun whilst learning the skills involved in competing in triathlons.

The Club meets for training weekly on a Sunday afternoon mainly during school term time.

All levels of ability are welcome to join. The only minimum requirement is that the junior can ride a bike and swim the distance for their age group. You can find these on the Tristars – About Triathlon page on the left.

The Club is coached by volunteer British Triathlon coaches & parent helpers. Our coaches hold British Triathlon Coaching qualifications and are fully covered by British Triathlon Federation insurance. Details of the British Triathlon Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy can be found here.
